Behind The Scenes: Bertell x Bun B. “She Bad”
More like Border’s Books but it felt like the record store none the less. I bought Leona Lewis, Trey Songz, Ryan Leslie & John Mayer. I was very pleased with my purchases especially John Mayer’s. Make sure you go and support these artists and pick the albums up. Trey & Ryan put out incredible R&B albums. GO GET THEM!!!!!!!

So I have a new catagory: Rides. And here is the first installment. Didn’t really come up being a Porsche kinda guy but this joint is the dopeness.
A Porsche is special enough for most, but for those looking for a bit more, there is no shortage of German tuners that specialize in Zuffenhausen’s finest who’ll be glad to bring it to the next level. Arguably foremost among them is 9ff, the relatively new outfit that made its mark with the record-breaking GT9.
With the Essen aftermarket tuner show coming up next weekend, 9ff has prepared the new Speed9. Based on the latest 911 Turbo convertible, the Speed9 sacrifices its rear seats for a slick profile evocative of the iconic 1955 Porsche 356 Speedster, with enough ground effects to match. Naturally 9ff hasn’t stopped at looks alone, boosting the twin-turbo engine up from 473 horsepower to a shocking 650. No official word on price or performance, but you can expect both to exceed expectations.
To commemorate both the New York Yankees’ recent World Series Championship victory and Japanese player Hideki Matsui’s MVP trophy, BAPE STORE® New York will be releasing the Go Go (55) New York Tee. One of my favorite songs. From one of my favorite albums. Period. If you don’t own EWF’s “All ‘N All”, you absolutely need that in your life.

Further incorporating its recent Heart & Mind motif, Billionaire Boys Club whips out a new colorway in its Heart & Mind graphic tee alongside a leather belt following the same aesthetic. The belt takes on a raw beige colorway with a gold brain buckle. Both can be found through select BBC flagship stores.
Big ups to the homie Selita. In the words of the great poet, The Dream, “She rockin’ that thang like…”

I have been away from the blog for a minute. Of course as you know I was in NY working with Jordan Knight, then I went to LA for about 10 days to handle some buisness with my publisher, write songs for Faith Hill with Toby Gad, Evan Bogart, Catt Gravitt, & Eman, meet with Anita Baker about producing her album (and I got a chance to see her in concert. One word. Incredible), I also met with Activision about a video game project, I am very excited about that, & I met with a few great pop songwriters about writing in the future. So the trip was very productive. I am back in the A now. Finishing up with Monica. We are doing her lead on “Superman” again. Gotta make sure the take is perfect. Mo is such a perfectionist! Love it. I am looking forward to Thanksgiving. That means that my birthday is around the corner and even though this year was bumpy for me emotionally, I am at a really great place in my life. Looking forward to 32 and to 2010!
God. Love. Life. Music. Exposed.

Everything I would say, you already know. Happy Birthday “MYRA”.

On November 17 in London Sotheby’s and Louis Vuitton will co-host a gala charity auction of six limited-edition Special Orders Vuitton pieces to benefit the Red Cross and commemorate the organization’s 150th anniversary. Since its creation in 1854, Vuitton’s Special Orders department has made bespoke creations (see Karl Lagerfeld’s here) to suit the whims of customers willing to pay for the perfect carrying case to suit their whims. For the Red Cross benefit sale, Vuitton created custom pieces for Damien Hirst (a butterfly armoire), chef Ferran Adrià (trolley case with knife tray), photographer Annie Leibovitz (camera bags), musician and composer Gustavo Santaolalla (instrument case), Vuitton creative director Marc Jacobs (dog carrier) and Patrick Louis Vuitton (alligator tool kit), the head of Vuitton’s Special Orders department and a member of the fifth generation of the Vuitton family. Each piece was designed by Patrick-Louis Vuitton in collaboration with the celebrity, along with a special Red Cross medical kit trunk (above) with boxes for emergency supplies.
