The perfect marriage. LOL.

Following the announcement of its latest collaboration with Clarks, today we can bring you news of another collaboration from Supreme. Once again, Nike is front and center as we see the return of a collaborative Supreme Dunk Low Pro SB model, marking the 10-year anniversary of the original Supreme Low Pro SB release. The cement print that was featured prior returns, complemented by a bright red leather upper and black swoosh. It is unknown if a second colorway will also be available. Set for a release in June, the Supreme x Nike SB Dunk Low Pro has been given a Japanese retail price of ¥13,650 JPY (approximately $166 USD). An official U.S. and UK price has yet to be announced.

Dopeness: ME x @Akai_Pro MPC Renaissance

I have had the honor of being a part of the development of the new MPC. Being that I have made 85% of my hits using an MPC (60II, 4K, 3K, and 2500), I so glad that Green Lantern put me down with this. Working closely with Daniel Gill, Charles Dixon, and the legendary Sean C. (from the production duo Sean C. and LV) this new MPC defies all of the odds. What they have done is combined the legendary use and mechanisms of the MPC 3000 (my favorite) with the thought process of today’s producer. The hardware vs. software concept works seamless in this new MPC. And it reads all of your old .snd, .prg, .aif files and it comes with some of the most bold sounds and synths I have ever heard. Not to mention you can use it stand alone or along side your favorite programs (FL, Logic Pro, Pro Tools; etc.). I am just so excited about this new product. Just the few times that I have sequenced on it, I felt my creativity level go up by leaps and bounds. This product will be released sometime in the summer. I am going on record to say that this is going to revolutionize music like the original MPC did back in the ’80s.

Travel: The Nomad Hotel x NYC

Next time I am in NYC I got to see what this spot is about.

via: superfuture

© the nomad hotel – a new beacon of stately chic in new york city

with the soft opening scheduled for sun – apr 1, the nomad hotel unfolds its long-anticipated hospitality to those who relish old world charm in a deluxe format. located in a turn of the century beaux-arts building in a stretch of broadway previously known to be rather bland, the property has been turned inside out by renowned french architect + interior designer jacques garcia who rendered the place into an oasis of stately chic. featuring no less than 168 rooms and suites, each one is appointed with hand-selected, richly textured custom-designed furnishings and original artwork, resulting in a unique sense of luxury. added to the haute aesthetics is a set of features and amenities indispensible to today’s traveller, such as wireless internet access, an lcd hd television, an ihome docking station and a 24-hour state-of-the-art fitness room. the nomad hotelboasts soaring ceilings throughout the public spaces that add visual drama.

a 24-foot-long mahogany bar evokes a balanced mix of spirited club and elegant lounge, and serves a selection of classic and proprietary cocktails. the pace is a tad more relaxed in the two-level library where guests can lounge amidst a stylish setting of custom-made furnishings, a communal mahogany table and ofcourse a wide variety of books. all within reach of fingerfood and drinks. this space doubles as a cocktail lounge in the evenings. restaurateur will guidara and top chef daniel humm - both from the michelin 3-star gourmet spot eleven madison park - supervise the dining room’s refined food + beverage program. interestingly, this summer will see the opening of a second culinary retreat on the rooftop. and next to the lavish decorum, the nomad hotel also blends in hipster coolness – setting it apart from similar old world-style deluxe pads in the city – by accommodating a maison kitsuné boutique on its premises. location: 1170 broadway [nomad]
